I'm Leah and I've been with the Krakens since day one and my passion is being here for the kids!
I have three kids, one of which has aged out and is now a jr coach. I'm proud to be a member of this board and am excited to see our program grow on and off the field.

Athletic Director / Safety Coordinator:

As an Athletic Director, I intend to help foster a structured, inclusive, and inspiring environment where every player and cheerleader feels supported. I understand the importance of clear communication with families, coaches, and staff, and I am committed to promoting fairness, discipline, and positive sportsmanship in every aspect of our program. In the role of Safety Coordinator, I bring with me a strong medical background as an ICU nurse and extensive training in emergency protocols, first aid, and health assessments. I am committed to upholding player safety through proper hydration guidance, injury protocol implementation, concussion management education, and clear communication with coaching staff and parents. I also aim to help build awareness around preventative care and safe play techniques to minimize risks throughout the season. These roles are not just responsibilities to me—they are extensions of my heart. I want to see our youth thrive in a positive, structured, and safe athletic environment. I am ready to step fully into these positions and support our coaching team, athletes, and families with dedication, integrity, and compassion.

Mother of 3 grown children and 9 grandchildren, 3 that are with the Krakens. Enjoy reading, boating and spending time with family.

Assistant Cheer Coordinator:

I spent the 2023 Kraken cheer season split, as both a parent and a coach, stepping up into the role when it was needed. I was the 2024 Mighty Mite/JV Coach for fall and stepped up in March when asked to be the Spring JV Coach. I am the current 2025 JV Coach. I am currently actively learning more about stunting and creating routines for halftime and competitions. I look forward to being able to work with the coordinator and other coaches to make this a successful season for the cheerleaders and the entire Kraken family. I hope that we can bring both new and old ideas together and work cohesively.

Hi. I am the registrar. I have been with the Krakens since the beginning. My son aged out. But I fell in love with the family I made with them. I love all the athletes like my own kids. We are all one big family and I am so grateful for that.
